In 2015, Carrington was started his journey as producer in elementry school. The founding of Carri's Music is representative of Carrington's growth over the last almost decade of music production.

Carri's Music is pleased to introduce a new style of Hip Hop and R&B Artist and Producer: CARRINGTON. Born (2005) in the DMV, Carrington started homing his skills in Middle School at the age of 12. The foundation of Carrington's beats, mixes and rhythms started with jazz by listening and appreciating the greats like Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Dizzy Gillispie, to name a few. Carrington's musical influences also comes from his African Caribbean parentage, with both parents being from Guyana. Born in an era of new (neo) Hip Hop, R&B, Reggie, and Afro Beats, you will find Carrington's version of fusion of the different musical genre on a traditional jazz foundation.

Is like being Born Into Music. The patriarch of this Carrington Tribe, Winslow G. Carrington, CCH, was not only an outstanding Labor Leader in his native Guyana but was also the manager of one of the top "string bands", renamed "Brass Mechanics" in Guyana from the mid 1970s to mid 1980s. This was after the original band owner and Winslow Carrington's youngest suddenly passed in 1974. However, before and after 1974, the "string band" , as they were called back then, used the Carrington location in Guyana to practice and local gigs.

It's in Guyana that Carri's Music will not manage new artist like Carrington but like talent locally, regional and international. At our original location in Georgetown, Carri's is working on the creation of a holistic creative space where new artist can thrive and grow.
